It will be held on September 16, 2021 at 10:00 in the presence of the Magnificent Rector prof. Ing. Francesco Ubertini the inauguration of the Maritime Basin of the Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory of the University of Bologna. This new experimental infrastructure will be able to offer our region an important and useful tool for coastal management and the implementation of blue economy initiatives as well as an interesting contribution to the development of the TAO project.

The monitoring campaign for the protection of the coast started yesterday: from this moment drones will be seen, acquire images with laser scanners, navigate small radio-controlled boats equipped with acoustic sensors to monitor the state and quality of the sea. For more information click here
On the occasion of R2B, which will be held online on 16 and 17 June 2021, visibility will be given to the POR-FESR regional projects and the High Technology Network, including the TAO project. The TAO project will be presented on June 17th starting at 15:00. The speaker for the partnership will be Professor Renata Archetti (CIRI Building and Construction – Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna) who will present the results of the project to date.

The appointment with Ecomondo, the fair focused on the Green Economy and on the most advanced and sustainable technological solutions for the management of the environment and its resources, is also returning to Rimini this year. Researchers from the Proambiente Consortium illustrated the laboratory’s top products and the TAO project.
Also this year Proambiente will be present with its SWAP vehicles at the Sea Drone Tech Summit 2019, the second edition of the only congress in Italy on drones and robots for marine and underwater use. The event this year will take place in Ostia (Rome) on 29 and 30 October 2019.
The best Italian experts in the field of aquatic drones will participate to present new projects and technologies and to create partnership and business opportunities. On this occasion, the TAO project will be presented to all interested participants.
From 18 to 20 September 2019, “REMTECH COASTEXPO” will be held in Ferrara, an important international event held annually at the Ferrara Fair dedicated to the management and protection of the coast and the sea, with the participation of the most competitive companies in the sector and main authorities, including Ministries, Ports, Regions and control bodies. The rich and diversified congress program deals with the topics of coastal protection, erosion, defense, monitoring, dredging, sediment management, port and offshore activities, Marine Strategy. Of note, the National Ports Conference and numerous qualified and high-profile technical and scientific meetings and insights. During this international event, TAI partner CIRI EC will present the project and disseminate the information materials to the students.
The SCACR will be held in Bari from 9-11 September 2019, the event that brings together students, researchers, theorists and model makers, designers and professionals in the field of coastal and port engineering with the aim of providing information on the latest developments in engineering coastal, port and offshore and to exchange views with users and stakeholders of the coastal area. In addition to workshops held by experts, numerous technical articles are presented during the specialist sessions. During this initiative, the TAO project and its objectives will be presented by CIRI EC.
